Hardy is gone now, but her pictures are here and her spiritual progeny populate this web site and lie on a comfort at my feet. Tears come to my eyes as I write this and I reach down to touch their reassuring warmth.
Retha and Chris live 200 miles apart in North and Central Florida.
Retha has always kept bunches of animals around her, horses, cats and dogs mostly. She is the one with the soft heart, the should-have-been vet. At any one time, she has most of the Boston Terriers with her on the farm in North Florida. It is she who whelps the puppies and fusses over them, dispenses love and vitamins liberally to the gang, heals their hurts and settles their disputes, and generally watches over them. Retha has learned to use a computer in the last year, and now maintains an electronic relationship by email and messenger with other Boston Terrier owners and prospective owners. She would love to hear from you.
Chris, on the other hand, is a computer geek with 25 years experience, much more reserved, and prefers her animals in smaller doses. She takes most of the pictures, maintains the web site, www.Blue-Skyz.com and loves Bostons. She keeps several of our Boston Terriers with her: always Indy and usually Peaches but the others may be with her to grow or recuperate or learn better social skills or a litter of pups may be on their way to new homes.
